Who is Rent With Pets unsuitable for?

Rent With Pets encourages transparency between pet friendly landlords and responsible pet owner tenants that take good care of rental properties.  However our service may not be suitable for everybody.

Rent With Pets is not for tenants that:

  •      Cannot commit to responsible pet ownership.

  •            Disrespect their landlord or neighbours' property.

  • ·         Allow people or pets to damage rental properties, or bring infectious disease and parasites into rental properties.

  • ·         Are unable to keep their rental homes clean and free from damage.

  • ·         Prefer not to disclose to landlords and property managers that they have pets, or the details of those pets.

  • ·         Prefer not to take responsibility for damage or increased wear and tear of properties caused by themselves or their pets.

Rent With Pets is not suitable for landlords and property managers:

  • ·         Whose rental properties are not suitable for pets to live in safely.

  • ·         Have no desire to accept pets in their rental properties.

  • ·         Prefer short term tenancies and high tenant turnover (the majority of our pet loving tenants are looking for a long term lease).

  • ·          Do not feel that happy tenants a priority.

  • ·         Are not interested in optimum cashflow from property investment.

  • ·         Prefer that tenants not disclose whether they have pets, or details of those pets.
